Workshops that make DJing more inclusive, accessible and fun
offering both group and private instruction for all levels
Fresh off my festival debuts at Tomorrowland Belgium and Harvest Festival, 1 year into throwing sold-out events for EveryBody and Bass Witch and having played many beloved parties across Toronto’s underground dance music community, I am excited to finally be able to share the skills and experience I’ve developed as a successful career DJ and provide a safer learning environment* where all selectors can thrive.

Intro to DJing
Level: Intermediate - advanced
For DJs who want to make the transition to CDJs and build confidence to play at gigs.
I am so excited to be able to offer the support I wished I had when I was making this transition. I now perform exclusively on CDJs and love the freedom it gives me to be versatile, spontaneous and have everything on my keychain - now I want to help set you free!
In this workshop, you will learn:
Setup and troubleshooting
Mapping controller controls to CDJs
Converting cue points from your mixing software
Beat matching without ‘sync’
Using effects to add creativity to your set
Best practices for track organization on CDJs
Press Play: DJing for Beginners
MONDAY, January 27 - 6:30 - 9pm
LEVEL: Beginner
For DJs with little to no experience to get a taste for what it’s all about and learn the fundamentals.
I developed this workshop to share the new and essential skills that will help you mix it up. You can bring a USB with your music, use mine or bring your controller to practice on.
In this workshop, you will learn:
Introduction to DJing essentials
Music theory, song structure, beat counting
How to choose DJ software and gear
Essential DJ vocabulary
Basics of how to mix
How to use EQ

Please let me know of your accessibility needs and I will try my best to support your access to this space.

*Safer Learning Environment
The aim of this course is to make DJing more accessible and inclusive as it has long been prioritized and gatekept by priviledged groups. We will be establishing norms and practices to ensure we can all learn and grow together in a safer way.
Mistakes are part of learning, which is why it's important that we hold space for each other that is free from judgement, discrimination or harassment.
